State Grid Wuxi Power Supply Company Supports High-Quality Development of the Semiconductor Industry

Recently, State Grid Wuxi Power Supply Company successfully added a 3,200 kVA main power supply and a 1,600 kVA standby power supply for SK Hynix (Wuxi) Industrial Development Co., Ltd.

SK Hynix, a world-renowned semiconductor manufacturer, has been deeply rooted and has developed in Wuxi since entering the Chinese market in 2005. With ongoing business expansion and improved production capacity, its electricity demand has also increased.

To ensure a smooth power capacity increase, State Grid Wuxi Power Supply Company developed a detailed power transmission plan, formed a dedicated customer service team, and finalized the capacity upgrade plan through extensive communication and on-site surveys. During construction, technicians overcame a series of difficulties such as limited space and complex equipment installation, and carried out careful planning and coordination to ensure the safety and efficiency of the upgrade work.
