“Dian Nuan Liu” Initiative Supports Autistic Children in Wuxi for Three Consecutive Years

Recently, youth volunteers from State Grid Wuxi Power Supply Company visited Wuxi Zoo to provide dedicated volunteer services for autistic children. This marks the third consecutive year the company has collaborated with Aimanyuan Children's Rehabilitation Center, bringing joy to autistic children through its “Dian Nuan Liu” initiative.

The event featured innovative dual-theme interactive scenarios combining power science education and animal protection. Activities included a power-themed cipher-decryption game at the Panda Pavilion and an animal knowledge Q&A session at the Lion and Tiger Pavilion. By adopting a “cute animal interaction + fun missions” approach, the event guided 20 children with special needs through immersive social training experiences. Red-vested volunteers provided continuous support throughout the seven-hour event and used specially designed panda- and tiger-themed educational tools on electricity, which integrated electrical safety knowledge into rehabilitation training.

Since establishing the assistance mechanism in 2021, State Grid Wuxi Power Supply Company has helped over 50 families with special needs improve their children's social adaptation capabilities through power science education and scenario-based training.
