State Grid Ningbo Power Supply Company Successfully Completes Power Supply Mission for the 4th China-CEEC Expo

On May 25, the 4th China-CEEC Expo & International Consumer Goods Expo concluded successfully in Ningbo. As the designated power assurance provider for this international event, State Grid Ningbo Power Supply Company successfully completed its tasks for both the main venue and all sub-venues with professional technical capabilities, achieving the goals of “zero equipment failures, zero power fluctuations, zero operational errors, and zero service complaints.”

In terms of technological application, the company fully leveraged its digital transformation achievements and innovatively adopted multiple intelligent power assurance technologies. By deploying an emergency command and power assurance platform, it established a comprehensive visual grid model based on the “unified grid map” technology, enabling real-time monitoring of key assurance components. Digital twin technology was applied to simulate power supply lines for major venues, allowing the team to identify and resolve potential risks in advance. The fully automated FA (Fault Automation) function was also implemented, significantly reducing fault response times. The integration of “manual inspection + smart inspection” technology enabled precise transmission line inspections, greatly improving quality and efficiency.

Based on different venue characteristics, the company implemented differentiated power assurance strategies. At the main venue, it deployed a total of 1,912 personnel and completed inspections of 30 substations, 47 switch stations, and 99 power lines. The Laowaitan sub-venue adopted a “dual power source + full FA coverage” solution, upgrading 51 automated stations. At the Xiangshan Asian Sailing Center, a “one-venue-one-plan” approach was used, with comprehensive risk assessments and emergency drills conducted before the event. Throughout the assurance period, the company mobilized substantial resources, formed emergency repair teams, and prepared generator trucks and mobile power units to remain on 24/7 standby for any contingencies.

Through this operation, State Grid Ningbo Power Supply Company not only fulfilled its mission but also gained valuable experience in supporting international events. This experience will serve as a valuable reference for future major event power assurance work and further strengthen Ningbo’s power infrastructure as the city continues its development into a modern coastal metropolis.
