In recent years, State Grid Zhangye Power Supply Company has firmly embraced the concept of green development, broadened the scope of environmental protection efforts, and continuously implemented the State Grid's “Lifeline for Migratory Birds” and “Life Bird Nest” projects. In key areas—such as main distribution zones, breeding grounds, migration stopovers, migration corridors, and flocking areas—the company has installed eco-friendly bird repellents and anti-bird spikes, used insulating materials to wrap high-risk clustered areas, and guided birds to nest and dwell in safe zones on power line towers.
These efforts promote the coordinated progress of high-quality power grid development and ecological protection, highlighting State Grid’s commitment to social responsibility through practical actions. (Text and photo by Cheng Gang)
