Top International Equestrian Event Hosted at Wuhan Business University

From May 30 to June 2, the 2025 Longines FEI Jumping World Cup™ – China League Wuhan was held at Wuhan Business University. The event was jointly organized by the International Equestrian Federation (FEI), the Chinese Equestrian Association, Wuhan Business University, and the Wuhan Municipal Sports Bureau.

The three-day competition attracted riders from countries such as Australia, South Africa, Ukraine, Belgium, and Switzerland. Over 60 club teams from 22 provinces across China also participated, with a total of 547 competitors.

This event marked the inaugural use of Wuhan Business University's newly completed indoor equestrian arena. The facility covers 8,489 square meters, featuring more than 1,000 fixed spectator seats and state-of-the-art amenities.

Wuhan Business University is the first institution in China to offer an equestrian program and has developed the most extensive facilities and largest program among domestic higher education institutions in the field. After 17 years of development and practice, the university has established a complete system for cultivating equestrian talent in China, focusing on standards development, teaching resources, faculty training, collaborative education mechanisms, and innovative teaching models.

Looking ahead, Wuhan Business University will continue to build an educational ecosystem that integrates “Equestrian + Humanities,” pioneering a new model of smart education. It aims to enhance the overall quality of equestrian talent, align with international equestrian standards, and foster a talent development ecosystem for China’s equestrian industry. The university is committed to offering a “Chinese solution” for equestrian talent development.
