Nanyang, Henan Launches Summer Electricity Safety Inspections

Recently, service personnel from the State Grid Nanyang Power Supply Company visited enterprises, businesses, and residential homes to conduct electricity safety inspections. Through on-site temperature measurements, consultations on electricity use, and troubleshooting, they promptly identified and eliminated potential hazards to ensure a stable and safe power supply during the summer peak period.

As the summer peak demand for electricity approaches, the company proactively deployed a special inspection plan, focusing on small and micro enterprises, agricultural processing businesses, and commercial establishments. The staff conducted comprehensive checks of incoming electrical lines and indoor electrical equipment. They carefully inspected power connections, wiring installations, and daily usage patterns, documenting risks such as overloaded outlets, substandard wiring, loose socket connections, and improperly installed leakage protection devices. The staff immediately informed users of the issues and provided detailed recommendations for corrective actions.

The staff also actively educated users on electricity safety and the risks associated with improper usage. They provided on-site guidance for selecting appropriate leakage protectors and switches, while explaining summer-specific electricity safety tips. These efforts significantly raised users’ awareness of electricity safety, ensuring safe and reliable power usage during the summer season.
