In recent years, Guiyang Comprehensive Bonded Zone has positioned itself as a "National Logistics Hub + New Highland for Guizhou’s Inland Open Economy." Through innovation in the "Port-Zone Synergy" model, it has established China’s first bonded-type international land port, building an integrated logistics network combining sea, rail, air, and road transportation. This has made the zone a core engine driving Guizhou’s deep integration into the New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor.
In 2022, Guiyang Comprehensive Bonded Zone collaborated with customs, railway authorities, and other departments to integrate the Dulaying Railway Logistics Port with the bonded zone. This created a composite system featuring multimodal transport channels, full-function port operations, and special customs supervision areas.

At the same time, the zone has advanced the "Single Document System" reform to enable end-to-end container shipping for maritime transport, linking with seven major ports including Qinzhou Port and Guangzhou Port. In April, it launched Guiyang’s first China-Laos cross-border road freight service, bridging the gap in small-batch, high-frequency logistics and offering end-to-end logistics services from consolidation in Guizhou to last-mile delivery overseas.

To date, Guiyang Comprehensive Bonded Zone has handled 566,300 tons of cargo, with container throughput exceeding 13,000 TEUs (twenty-foot equivalent units). It has operated 26 trains on the New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor and 21 Guizhou-Guangdong freight services. Products from Guizhou—such as tires, tea, auto parts, chili powder, potato chips, and garments—are reaching global markets via rail-sea intermodal transport, China-Europe freight trains, and the China-Laos Railway, injecting strong momentum into building an open economy in Guizhou.
