State Grid Xuchang Power Supply Company recently commissioned the 220 kV Jishan Substation, strengthening the local power grid infrastructure to ensure reliable electricity supply during peak summer demand while supporting high-quality regional economic and social development.

The 220 kV Jishan Substation represents one of State Grid's first pilot projects for new digital smart grid construction. The facility features indoor GIS (Gas-Insulated Switchgear) technology and includes one 180 MVA main transformer, four 220 kV outgoing lines, five 110 kV outgoing lines, and eight 10 kV outgoing lines. Through advanced intelligent technologies, the substation enables real-time monitoring of equipment operating conditions, enhancing operations and maintenance efficiency while effectively meeting diverse electricity demands across Xuchang's southwestern region.

During construction, State Grid Xuchang Power Supply Company strictly implemented national safety production standards. The company coordinated key processes including grid connection plan reviews, construction material procurement, and permit approvals, successfully resolving construction challenges. The project maintained rigorous quality, progress, and safety controls through optimized resource allocation and construction planning. Management followed State Grid Corporation's standardized processes for transmission and substation projects, ensuring comprehensive quality management throughout all project phases.

State Grid Xuchang Power Supply Company will continue to intensify grid reinforcement efforts, improve the business climate, and provide reliable power infrastructure to support the region's high-quality economic and social development.
