On July 22, the peak summer power service team of State Grid Xuchang Power Supply Co., Ltd. visited Qianbiao Village, Dingzhuang Village, and other areas in Yanling County, Xuchang City, Henan Province. The team addressed electricity-related issues on site, promoted electrical safety, and worked to ensure a stable power supply during the ongoing heatwave.
As the sanfu period—the hottest stretch of the year—continues, temperatures have soared and electricity demand has surged. To ensure reliable power supply, State Grid Xuchang Power Supply Co., Ltd. established a dedicated peak summer service team. Together with local power supply office staff, they visited households in rural areas to help residents stay cool during the heat.
During these visits, technicians measured voltage levels and three-phase loads. When anomalies were found, they promptly implemented corrective actions such as transformer tap adjustments, load balancing, wire upgrades, replacement of aging connectors, and phase balancing across the three phases—efforts aimed at boosting the grid’s power delivery capacity. During peak usage hours, they proactively visited households to inspect electrical devices, eliminate safety risks, understand user needs, and promote electrical safety. They also encouraged residents to use the “State Grid” mobile app and neighborhood hotline services. Electricity-related updates were shared in advance through SMS and WeChat groups, alongside promotion of peak load shifting and infrastructure protection practices.
Going forward, State Grid Xuchang Power Supply Co., Ltd. will continue refining its services and strengthening power supply reliability to ensure a safe and cool summer for residents.
