The high energy consumption and exhaust emissions of conventional diesel heavy-duty trucks have long posed challenges to Baokang’s natural environment. To address this, the county’s phosphate mining company has gradually purchased nearly 40 new electric heavy-duty trucks for use in the mining area, marking the official start of the transformation of its transport system. State Grid Baokang Power Supply Company has continuously increased investment in the construction of charging stations and the power grid. Supported by a robust new energy network, the once-dusty mining transport routes are being transformed into an efficient, clean, and sustainable “green artery.”
