Recently, Yili Group received the Nomination Award at the Fifth China Quality Award ceremony. Having led the Asian dairy industry for 12 consecutive years, Yili has now earned China’s highest recognition in quality management for three consecutive sessions.
At Yili's ranches, "one-click dairy farming" has become a reality. Each cow wears an ear tag that functions as an ID card, resume, immunization record, and family tree all in one. The tags support facial recognition, allowing precise identification of a single cow among thousands in just one second. They also assist in optimal breeding through gene matching. As cows enter their "adolescent" stage, they are equipped with smart collars that act like fitness trackers, recording their diet, sleep, and activity while monitoring their physical condition and rumination status.
The "Yiqiniu Smart Ranch Ecosystem," serving as the ranch's "super brain," integrates technologies such as big data, the Internet of Things, and artificial intelligence. In coordination with ear tags and smart collars, it enables comprehensive oversight through "one unified screen and one connected network," ensuring efficient and scientific ranch operations. Today, the key milk quality indicators at Yili's partner ranches surpass EU standards, with bacterial counts far below EU limits. Empowered by modern digital technologies, China's dairy industry is advancing from "catching up" to "leading," placing itself firmly among the world's top-tier producers.
