Recently, staff from the State Grid Nanyang Power Supply Company visited the Manyi Vegetable Base in Lidian Town, Sheqi County, Nanyang City. They inspected low-voltage power lines and electrical facilities inside the greenhouses to ensure a safe and reliable power supply for local vegetable growers.
In recent years, Sheqi County has developed greenhouse fruit and vegetable cultivation tailored to local conditions, and its produce now sells well nationwide. To better support this industry and ensure a stable power supply, the company carried out special inspections on key power lines and conducted low-temperature hazard inspections at substations, distribution rooms, and box-type transformers. Staff also made on-site visits based on individual growers’ needs and established individual service records. They inspected distribution lines, irrigation power equipment, and electrical installations used for lighting, heating, and rolling curtain machines. They helped farmers replace worn sockets, switches, and wires, provided guidance on proper wiring layout, assisted with the correct installation of electrical equipment, and promptly rectified potential hazards to resolve power issues on site, ensuring worry-free electricity use for greenhouse operations.
To date, the State Grid Nanyang Power Supply Company has provided on-site services to more than 30 greenhouse operators within its service area and has eliminated over ten potential electrical hazards. These efforts ensure growers can use electricity with confidence and fully support rural revitalization.
