　　阿尔及利亚东西高速公路全长1216公里，是该国建国以来最大的基建项目，是当时中资企业在国际工程承包市场中斩获的各类工程当中单项合同金额最大、同类工程中技术等级最高的大型国际总承包项目，也是中国首个采用欧洲规范和欧洲技术标准的海外工程项目。

　　The Algerian East-West Expressway Project spans 1,216 kilometers and stands as the country's largest infrastructure project since its founding. At the time, it was the largest single-contract project secured by a Chinese enterprise in the international engineering contracting market, as well as the most technically advanced project of its kind. It was also China's first overseas project to adopt Eurocodes and European technical standards.
