On February 20, the online movie One Man One Land was officially released. The online film One Man One Land is co-produced by the Publicity Department of Jixi County Committee of the Communist Party of China and Anhui Film Group Corporation. It is directed by Jiang Chao, a national first-class director, with Zhang Qianwen as producer, Wang Jingyu as director of photography, and Meng Xiangyu as editor. Starring Liu Yang and Li Qinglin, the film also features authentic performances by local villagers from Beicun, Jixi County, bringing genuine texture and profound folk heritage to the screen.

Set against the century-old intangible cultural heritage of Jixi — the Forty Coevals Community Worship Festival, the film tells a heartfelt story of Li Yan, a uxorilocal husband who is unexpectedly entrusted with presiding over the grand ritual. From hesitation and timidity to courage and responsibility, he grows into a reliable leader and completes his personal transformation.

Through vivid cinematography, the film deeply embodies the traditional virtues of benevolence, righteousness, fortitude, propriety, wisdom and trustworthiness, as well as the profound heritage of Huizhou culture. It presents the unique folk customs and warm rural charm of Huizhou villages, showcasing distinctive local traditions including dragon-board craftsmanship, year-pig sacrifice, and community gift distribution.

One Man One Land celebrates the sincere dedication of Huizhou people in safeguarding century-old folk customs and upholding traditional virtues, highlighting the living inheritance of fine traditional Chinese culture in contemporary times.
