The show began with the firework spelling out "20", symbolizing the 20th anniversary of Macao's return to the motherland. During the show, 600 drones flew up to the sky, forming characters like "20" and "Macao and Zhuhai are family" as well as images of the Ruins of St. Paul's complex, one of Macao's best-known landmarks, and the marvelous Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge.
Synchronized to different background music and color changing lights, the fireworks burst into splendid patterns like smiling faces and peacock spreading its tail feathers in the backdrop of the Macao Tower.
