Photo taken on Dec. 12, 2019 shows a cloisonne artwork designed by artist Dai Jialin in Beijing, capital of China. Cloisonne, a world-famous traditional handicraft of Beijing, was listed as a national intangible cultural heritage in 2006. The manufacturing process of cloisonne integrates many professional techniques such as fine arts, carving, inlay, glass smelting and metallurgy and so on, carrying distinctive Chinese style and profound cultural connotation. Beijing Enamel Factory Co., Ltd., established in 1956, is the only Chinese time-honored brand in the cloisonne industry and is also a productive protection and demonstration base of cloisonne production techniques. On the basis of inheriting the traditional skills, the company has made great efforts to innovate and cultivated a highly skilled cloisonne creation team, making new breakthroughs and improvements in design and technological level of the ancient cloisonne handicrafts.
