2022 "Into the Beautiful Countryside" Cultural Tourism Event of Sichuan Province Held

Recently, the 2022 "Into the Beautiful Countryside" Cultural Tourism Event of Sichuan Province as well as the 4th Folk Culture Festival of Liyuan (which literally means "pear garden") Ancient Village in Tongjiang County, China, opened in Liyuanba Village, Nixi Town, Tongjiang County, Bazhong City. Thousands of tourists from all over the country gathered in the village to watch performances, taste delicious food, visit the ancient village, and share the folk cultural charm of Liyuan Ancient Village.

At the opening ceremony, the splendid performances with the unique characteristics of Tongjiang County and the pear blossoms of Liyuanba Village set off each other, which attracted bursts of applause from the audience. After the opening ceremony, tourists walked along the scenic trails to enjoy the sea of pear blossoms and feel the idyllic scenery of spring.

The Folk Culture Festival created a "Liyuan" cultural and tourism brand by integrating culture and tourism, to drive local economic development and boost rural revitalization. In the future, Tongjiang County will continue to promote the high-quality and balanced development of rural resources, folk culture, and rural tourism, and further build the brand of "Ancient Village in Northeast Sichuan" to fully demonstrate Tongjiang's cultural heritage, local customs and rural revitalization achievements.
