"The Voice of the Silk Road" Shines at the Opening Ceremony of the 8th Silk Road International Arts Festival

On the evening of September 17, the 8th Silk Road International Arts Festival, co-organized by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and the Shaanxi Provincial People's Government, kicked off in Xi'an. Invested, made and produced by TCG. Shaanxi, "The Voice of the Silk Road", an original musical themed on the Silk Road, impressed the audiences as the opening performance.

During the performance, "The Voice of the Silk Road", which showcased the characteristics of the Silk Road culture and adopted innovative performance methods integrating Eastern and Western styles to tell a novel story of traveling back in time, led participating leaders and guests and offline audiences into a splendid dreamlike world of the Silk Road, enabling them to appreciate contributions made by the Silk Road in promoting commercial and trade exchanges as well as cultural integration.

As the first original musical themed on the Silk Road and traveling back in time, "The Voice of the Silk Road" brought together the world's top-notch teams of musical creation and took four years to perfect. It is one of the specific measures TCG. Shaanxi has taken to vigorously respond to China's Belt and Road Initiative and implement the strategy of "going global".

On September 28, "The Voice of the Silk Road" will start offering residency performances and a series of performances for public benefits at the Qinyin Theater of the Silk Road Paradise in Xi'an, Shaanxi Province.
