Since construction officially began in July 2023, the Xinke Expressway Project has upheld the philosophy of "building a century-long project and erecting a monument quality." Focused on four core principles: innovation-driven development, green and low-carbon practices, intelligent construction, and safety management, it has advanced technological breakthroughs and management upgrades in a comprehensive and systematic way. With the clear ambition of winning the autonomous region's "Prairie Cup" and competing for the construction industry's highest honor, the "Luban Prize," the project team worked tirelessly for more than 700 days before successfully completing handover acceptance.
As a key component of both the national expressway network and the comprehensive transportation system of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, the expressway will shorten travel time between Jilin and Inner Mongolia by 1 to 2 hours. While optimizing the regional road network, it will significantly enhance cross-provincial travel efficiency. The project will play an important role in improving the national and regional expressway layout, supporting resource development along the route, boosting the tourism industry, and promoting coordinated economic and social development.
