'Daka China 2024 – Modern Fashion with Ancient Charm in Anhui – Wuhu Station!' Online International Communication Event Kicked off

On September 26, "Daka China 2024 – Modern Fashion with Ancient Charm in Anhui – Wuhu Station!" Online International Communication Event officially kicked off. This event was directed by the Bureau of Cyber Communications, Cyberspace Administration of China, hosted by CRI Online and the Cyberspace Administration of Anhui Province, and organized by the Cyberspace Administration of Wuhu and the Anhui Branch of CRI Online. Online celebrities and bloggers from Thailand, Russia, Mexico, Vietnam, and other countries came to Wuhu, the "Pearl of Wanjiang".

Wuhu is known as "the famous town of Jiangdong" and "the famous area of Wu and Chu". It is the biggest one of the "four major rice markets" in modern Jiangnan and an important port of the Yangtze River for water transportation. Wuhu is also an important town of industry, science and education, commerce and trade, and culture in Eastern China. In the first station of the event, online celebrities and bloggers visited Wuhu Sculpture Park to feel the beauty of the picturesque landscape.

Since 2010, the Wuhu Municipal Government and China Sculpture Institute have cooperated to plan the first "Liu Kaiqu" sculpture exhibition. 316 exquisite sculptures from more than 40 countries and regions coexist with nature, creating a "Wuhu model" for the construction of Chinese sculpture parks. In 2016, Wuhu was awarded the title of "City of Chinese Sculpture" at the Fourth Chinese Sculpture Exhibition.
