As summer reaches its peak in Shaanxi Province, the critical period for determining the yields of autumn crops such as rice and corn is underway. State Grid Shaanxi Power Supply Company is leveraging precision electricity services to paint a vivid picture of high-quality, modern agricultural development across the region.

In Huyi District of Xi'an, reel-type sprinkler irrigation machines have become the “smart guardians” of cornfields. With the support of mobile power supply units provided by the company, these machines can irrigate up to 30 mu of land per day—quadrupling efficiency compared to manual labor, while reducing water consumption by 30% and cutting irrigation costs by 20 yuan per mu.

From the Guanzhong Plain to the Weibei Plateau, the electric service network is deeply embedded in the operational systems of modern agriculture. Power system teams across the province conduct comprehensive, grid-based inspections of irrigation and drainage lines, using infrared thermography and other technologies to ensure equipment health.
