CCPIT Zhejiang and Ningbo Intermediate People’s Court Sign Cooperation Memorandum

On August 7, to further integrate resources, strengthen collaboration, enhance the quality and efficiency of foreign-related legal services, and help enterprises better cope with international market risks, CCPIT Zhejiang and the Ningbo Intermediate People’s Court jointly hosted the event “Law Safeguards Openness – Trade Connects the World: ‘CCPIT Sees the World’ Foreign-Related Legal Tour Salon.” Nearly 100 representatives from universities, courts, bar associations, enterprise rights protection associations, and other institutions attended.

During the event, the two sides signed a Cooperation Memorandum focusing on “Service of Process for Foreign-Related Legal Documents,” “Cross-Border Investigation and Evidence Collection,” “Ascertainment of Foreign Laws,” and “Litigation-Mediation Coordination in Foreign-Related Commercial Disputes,” among other areas. The memorandum sets out collaboration in seven key areas with ten specific measures, aimed at promoting smoother and more convenient litigation-mediation coordination, more diversified and efficient dispute resolution, and more inclusive and targeted legal services.

In addition, the Zhejiang International Commercial Legal Service Center and the School of International Law, East China University of Political Science and Law, delivered thematic presentations on foreign-related commercial law.
