From August 4 to 9, State Grid Zhejiang Electric Power carried out the 2025 University Brand Experience Program under the “Thousand Households, Ten Thousand Lamps – Pursuit of Light” initiative. Faculty and student representatives, experts, and scholars from leading universities such as Tsinghua University and Peking University, together with representatives from government, communities, and media, visited urban, rural, and industrial communities in Ningbo, Quzhou, and other areas. Through field research, hands-on practice, and project studies, they provided suggestions to help State Grid Zhejiang Electric Power enhance grassroots governance services and upgrade the “Thousand Households, Ten Thousand Lamps” service brand, exploring a new model of enterprise–university collaboration to advance modern social governance.

In April this year, State Grid Zhejiang Electric Power officially introduced the “Thousand Households, Ten Thousand Lamps” service brand. Around the same time, it established the “Grassroots Governance Brand Building Laboratory” in partnership with Tsinghua University, and in July, it initiated related research projects—laying the theoretical foundation for this university engagement program. During the activities, university faculty and students were divided into groups to experience a series of “Golden Key” projects, including “One Station Connects One City,” “Shared Electrician,” and “Energy and Carbon Steward,” gaining firsthand insight into innovative practices in power grid services.
