In the early autumn, the Zhangye region, located in the middle of the Hexi Corridor, welcomes a "purple harvest" as more than 400 mu of plums at Zhangye Jinmanyuan Agricultural Technology Company enter the picking season. Employees of State Grid Zhangye Power Supply Company visited the plum base to conduct dedicated inspections and voluntary maintenance of its electricity facilities, providing reliable power to support the development of the plum industry and help local growers increase their incomes and improve their livelihoods.

As a representative of the region's specialty agriculture, the plum industry relies on electricity at every stage—from irrigation and refrigeration to processing. State Grid Zhangye Power Supply Company has made electricity services for specialty agriculture a key focus of its "Double Satisfaction" project and has developed a customized "one base, one policy" electricity guarantee plan for the plum base. During the peak harvest season, the company's employees proactively go into the fields to carry out comprehensive inspections of dedicated circuits, leakage protectors, water pumps, and sorting and packaging equipment, promptly identifying and eliminating potential safety hazards. They have also strengthened load monitoring and provided scientific guidance on electricity use to ensure uninterrupted power supply for all stages of production, processing, and refrigeration.

With reliable electricity support, Zhangye Jinmanyuan Agricultural Technology Company has steadily expanded its plum cultivation, with output expected to exceed 100 tons in 2025. In addition to selling fresh fruits to other regions, more plums are processed into additive-free dried plums and plum juice, extending the industrial chain and enhancing product value.
