With the rapid growth of the digital economy, China now has 84 million workers engaged in new business formats. Food delivery riders, couriers, and others have become the "capillaries" that keep society running. Providing services for this group has become an important task in advancing the modernization of grassroots governance.

In June this year, the Qian Haijun Community Convenience Service Station—named after a "Model of the Times"—was officially launched in Cixi. As Zhejiang's first demonstration station for "three-network co-construction," it leverages the service team of State Grid community managers to provide three categories of services: ensuring reliable power supply, expanding value-added services, and carrying out voluntary public welfare activities. By proactively integrating into government service grids, it offers dedicated support for workers in new business formats.

On September 23, the event "Electrical Safety Safeguards the City's Runners" was held at the service station. Community managers from State Grid Ningbo Power Supply Company provided food delivery riders with training on electric vehicle charging safety and circuit maintenance through presentations, demonstrations, and interactive Q&A sessions. In the electrical training room, they guided riders in learning basic household circuit maintenance skills and reminded them of common safety precautions such as "never using metal wires to replace fuses" and "avoiding the use of the same power strip for high-power appliances." "This training taught me the 'danger zones' of lithium battery charging, and I will strictly follow the safety standards," said Mr. Li, a participating food delivery rider.
