On October 31, State Grid Jinhua Power Supply Company successfully applied the crawler-mounted derrick method to complete the transmission tower erection at the tower assembly site of the Lieqiao 110kV Line Project. This has provided an efficient solution for power grid construction across Jinhua's complex terrains.

Along the route of this project, farmlands and river networks are crisscrossed, and the roads are narrow and muddy. Traditional tower assembly equipment faced great difficulties in entering the site and significantly impacted the surrounding environment. Previously, it took 3 days to erect a single transmission tower. The crawler-mounted derrick adopted for this project, equipped with retractable "spider legs" and a crawler chassis, can flexibly adapt to complex terrains. It not only greatly reduces the workload of laying construction access roads and effectively minimizes the impact on the surrounding ecological environment, but also integrates advanced technologies such as modular design and wireless remote sensing monitoring. These features enhance safety protection and further optimize the construction process.

In the end, the tower assembly work was successfully completed in only 2 days, with a significant improvement in construction efficiency. The successful application of this crawler-mounted derrick (for transmission tower erection) construction method marks a new optimization and upgrade in the company's power grid construction technology for complex terrain, providing a practical model for regional power grid projects.
