As the winter peak load period approaches, the safe operation of power grid equipment is facing a new round of challenges. To comprehensively enhance the operational reliability of substations and ensure a stable power supply during the peak winter period, recently, State Grid Quzhou Power Supply Company has been carefully organizing and steadily advancing the comprehensive overhaul and renovation of the 110kV Huabu Substation, reinforcing the safety defense line of the winter power grid.
As an important power hub in Kaihua County, Quzhou City, Zhejiang Province, the operational condition of the Huabu Substation directly affects the regional power supply quality. This comprehensive overhaul focuses on defect elimination, preventive testing, and partial equipment renewal, covering key devices such as main transformers, circuit breakers, and disconnectors. During the process, staff strictly followed standardized operation procedures and implemented the "one plan for one piece of equipment" requirement. They conducted systematic verification of various protection devices, thoroughly inspected and promptly addressed potential risks to ensure that all equipment could be put into operation with "zero defects."
This comprehensive overhaul has not only significantly improved the health level and operational stability of the equipment at Huabu Substation but also ensured full preparedness for coping with the winter peak load and mitigating the impact of low temperature and icy weather. (By Shu Chenyang)
