Recently, at the Tunsun Village section of the Zhengzhou-Xuchang Expressway in Xincun Town, operation and maintenance personnel from State Grid Zhengzhou Power Supply Company informed construction staff of potential safety hazards to ensure the security of high-voltage transmission lines.

As the Zhengzhou-Xuchang Expressway construction accelerates, China Construction Seventh Engineering Division Corp., Ltd. plans to carry out pile foundation work beneath towers 33 of the 220 kV Wuao Line and 70 of the Zhengwu Line. Construction near power facilities poses a major external risk to the power grid. Upon learning of the project, the line supervisor from the Xinzheng Grid Team of State Grid Zhengzhou Power Supply Company immediately rushed to the site to hold face-to-face discussions with the project manager, construction staff, and machinery operators of China Construction Seventh Engineering Division Corp., Ltd. He explained the safety precautions for working under high-voltage lines and assisted the contractor in refining a detailed construction plan.
