Charles Kayonga, ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Rwanda in China, told the CRI Online Shaanxi Channel that this was the first time he has climbed Mountain Hua. Before coming to Mountain Hua, he learned about it from several books. After personally climbing Mountain Hua, all the sceneries were in a glance. “The scenery here is very admirable and spectacular”, he admired.

Climbing stone steps to appreciate the mountains, ambassadors enthusiastically watched the mountains and learned stories about them. Some humanized infrastructure was also praised by ambassadors. Charles Kayonga said: “The cableway up and down the mountain is very convenient for tourists. Some Chinese and English bilingual signs in the scenic area are clearly written to remind tourists where to go, where is safe, which can help foreign tourists in a better way. Moreover, good infrastructure and service quality really help enhance tourists’ enjoyment and satisfaction toward beautiful sceneries.”

The development of tourism not only offers a visible economic benefit for local people, but also promotes communication with the outside world. Charles  Kayonga, ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Rwanda in China, noted that with the deepening of friendly relations between China and Rwanda in recent years, many Chinese people have been travelling to Rwanda, and the two countries have also signed relevant cooperation agreements on tourism. All these have opened up channels for friendly exchanges between the two countries. He hoped that tourism would deepen the understanding of each other and provide information for the exchange and cooperation between the two countries.
