WFC Viewing Platform: Enjoy a Beautiful Night Scene of the Mountain City Chongqing

To many Chongqing citizens, the viewing platform in Chongqing South Mountain Park is just the place to enjoy the night scene of the city. Apart from South Mountain Park, now there is another place to get the bird eye view of the whole city. Chongqing World Financial Centre (WFC), located on the Liberation Monument Pedestrian Street, is the highest building in west China. Standing on the Huixian Tower viewing platform of WFC, one can enjoy the scenery along the Yangtze River, and have a bird eye view of Chongqing.

The Huixian Tower viewing platform is on the 73rd and 74th floor of WFC, and it is called 'the peak in west China'. The building is 338.9 meters high and 590 meters high above sea level, and covers an area of 1940 square meters. A part of the viewing platform on the 74th floor of WFC is of an open air design, and the walls inside are all made of glass. Tourists can see the starry sky, the scenery along Yangtze River, and also the South Mountain and Liberation Monument nearby.

In 1980s, Huixian Tower was the highest building in the area. In 2009, Huixian Tower was demolished. WFC was constructed at the original location of the the tower, and then became a new landmark of Chongqing.

WFC is not only a landmark to Yuzhong, it is also a window to introduce Yuzhong to China and even the world. It is like the jewel in the crown and delivers the spirit of Chongqing.
