"This is the first time I have come to the starting point of the ancient Silk Road. Xi'an has presented us with unique oriental beauty. Through a day of visits in Xi'an High-tech Zone, I feel the beauty of China's technology, fashion, and diligence. " On November 2, Charles Kayonga, ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of the Republic of Rwanda in China, said in an exclusive interview with CRI Online Shaanxi channel.

"I was deeply impressed by Xi'an Liangjiatan International School during the trip. The children here are very cute. Their songs and smiles are very appealing. During the conversation, I could see not only their visions for the future, but also the horizons that are different from their peers. To introduce outside researchers, a region, a city or even a country must do far more than providing a series of project-supporting policies. Only by putting education issues which are concerned by all people in the world in the first place, can those 'smart minds' be settled here.” said Charles Kayonga.

He said that Xi'an High-tech Zone has a great vision on education issues. The people in charge have a strong executive force and have solved the education problems, giving the staff enough reassurance. The teaching model of Xi'an Liangjiatan International School is worth promoting. In the future, he hopes that Rwanda and the universities in Xi'an High-tech Zone will form a benign educational exchange and cooperation mechanism, and promote the development of Rwanda’s education by sending international students.
