“‘Hello World, I’m Jilin’-2018 China-friendly Netizens in Jilin” Was Officially Launched

On Nov 10th, “‘Hello World, I’m Jilin’-2018 China-friendly Netizens in Jilin” sponsored by Office of Jilin Cyberspace Administration was officially launched in Changchun, Jilin.

Nine netizens from United States, Australia, Bangladesh, France, Indonesia, Korea, Thailand, and Ukraine were invited to this activity, and they will share what they experience and discover during the visit to the net friends around the world and make the world focus on Jilin.

Wu Dingping, Chief of Office of the Central Cyberspace Affairs Commission, Dong Weiren, Administrative Vice Minister of Publicity Department of the CPC Jilin Municipal Committee, Zhang Shubin, Vice Administrator of International Communication Office of the CPC Jilin Municipal Committee, Cui Ping, Vice Administrator of Office of Jilin Cyberspace Administration and Zang Julin, head of CRIOnline attended the opening ceremony of the activity. The opening ceremony was hosted by Cui Ping.

2018 marks the 40th anniversary of China’s Reform and Opening-up, Chinese people have written down magnificent epics of the development of state and nations, and Jilin has seen great changes.” According to Dong Weiren, Administrative Vice Minister of Publicity Department of the CPC Jilin Municipal Committee, Reform and Opening-up has made Jilin a wonderful place. He hopes that international netizens can see more, experience more, discover the beauty of Jilin and record the development and changes of Jilin, in order to promote and introduce Jilin to more international friends.

“‘Miracle’ or ‘amazing’ are adjectives often used to describe the remarkable transformation of China during the 40 years of reform and opening-up. However, China’s transformation is not a miracle. But what is amazing is the hard work, planning, sacrifice and in particular, the spirit of Chinese people that are the real drivers of China’s success.

Then Wu Dingping, Dong Weiren, Zhang Shubin, and Zang Julin launched the activity “‘Hello World, I’m Jilin’-2018 China-friendly Netizens in Jilin” together.

2018 is the 40th anniversary of Reform and Opening-up, and it’s also an important year for China to accelerate high-quality development, industry transformation and upgrading, build moderately prosperous society, and construct Jilin into a wonderful place. During the 40 years of Reform and Opening-up, the economic society of Jilin has changed a lot, and made great progress.
