If you go to Norway, people will advise you to go in the north to Tromso or Cape north. If you decide to go in Cambodia everybody will advise you to go to Angkor in the North-West of the country. Or maybe you will decide to go to visit the USA. And then again those who know very well the country will definitely ask you to go to visit Chicago in the North instead of visiting Miami or New York... Same in north Spain with Basque Country and San Sebastián or north of Chili with Atacama desert and so on. So the North of China just confirm this rule. You definitely should go North!

North-East of China is located in a very special place, near the Russian and Korean borders. You would find a surprising and amazing city named Changchun here. It's town in China where produced the very first cars, where also produced the first movie, same for high-speed trains, satellites for commercial purposes and so many other things.

But Changchun is also a dramatic spectacular city which is the result of 40 years of huge changes and enormous works initiate in Changchun, but also in all the Jilin province. Reform and opening-up policies are definitely a turning point in the history of this city. Those ambitious plans are the explanations of the incredible economic development of Jilin province.

But Jilin is much more than all of that Jilin is also the result of a very precious work to preserve wildlife places. For instance, North of China has many natural places which are shelters for Siberian tigers or Siberian Cranes. Some wild beautiful animals live peacefully in the National forests or natural reserves of Jilin. The large ecological reserves will make you understand why the north of China is so special and so impressive. And why you should definitely come to enjoy this « lost paradise ».
