American Video Editor Jonathan Conti: Jilin's Journey is More Like a Learning Experience

My first impression upon arrival in Jilin is that it’s bustling with industry and growth. The economic development that we have seen so far has been impressive to say the least. From the Changchun Railway Vehicles Co., Ltd to the Changguang Satellite Technology Co., Ltd, Jilin seems to be an area looking towards the future.

We have also seen a good amount of culture in the area. The Changchun World Sculpture Park was a fascinating collection of outdoor architecture and sculpting feats here in the heart of Jilin. Works both large and small in scale provide insight into Chinese history and a backdrop into the heritage of the province.

So far it has been a great learning experience for me, visiting the area around Changchun. I look forward to the rest of the week as we continue to explore more of the Jilin province.
