A group of Israeli media leaders have got an overview of progress in the cooperation between their country and Yangling Agricultural Hi-tech Industries Demonstration Zone during a visit to China-Israel Agricultural Science and Technology Cooperation Park in Shaanxi on July 31.
The cooperation park, an advanced agricultural technology demonstration zone and pilot area, boasts technologies and products from leading Israeli enterprises. The technologies it applies represent the cutting-edge concepts of agricultural irrigation.
In 2018, the cooperation park realized smart control of irrigation and fertilization for different crops and plants in different growth stages through a combination of Israeli fertigation equipment and control system with domestic Internet of Things, devices and engineering techniques.
So far, technologies and equipment developed by the cooperation park have been used in Tibet Autonomous Region, Gansu and Qinghai provinces and Sansha City.
Impressed by the achievements made by Israel and China in agricultural cooperation, Owen Simon Alterman, a senior international journalist of Israel’s I24 News English Channel, expected the two sides to expand cooperation and achieve more win-win results.
