2019 China·Wuhan Mulan International Kite Festival will kick off in the end of April

From April 27th to 29th, 2019 China·Wuhan Mulan International Kite Festival will kick off at Mulan grassland landscapes in Huangpi district of Wuhan, Hubei province.

About 200 participants in 50 teams from 25 countries and regions will be invited to this festival and will compete with other thousands of kite flying fans in Wuhan. It is the fourth time for Mulan grassland landscapes to host the International Kite Festival. According to the statistics, the three previous festivals had attracted 200,000 tourists in total.

Yan Fan, the deputy minister of Wuhan Administration of Sport, said, kite flying is a kind of sport for fitness with large number of participants and great fun and joy. The purpose of Wuhan International Kite Festival is to provide a platform for all kite flying fans across the world to mutual communicate and learn from each other. Last but not least, it is not only an opportunity for players at home to learn and know more about the unique making techniques and flying skills from the world, but also a chance for the whole world to know more about China, especially Wuhan.
