The First Market Procurement Trade Pilot of Western China Lands in Chengdu, Sichuan

Recently, the first batch of goods declared for export through market procurement and trade, of Chengdu, Sichuan had reached the clearance in Chengdu customs. The value of these goods is 148,000 US dollars. And the main products are men's cotton suits, women's casual suits, etc., which will be exported to Poland by China Europe (Chengdu).

The national-level market procurement trade method refers to the purchase of a single-vote customs declaration commodity value of less than US$150,000 by a qualified operator in a market agglomeration area recognized by the State Commerce Supervisor and other departments, and handling export commodity clearance at the place of purchase. The trade method of formalities is also known as the “micro-free trade zone” in the export sector.

On September 28, 2018, Chengdu International Trade City became the fourth batch of pilot market for market procurement and trade in China, and Jinniu District is the first region in western China to conduct pilot trials of state-level market procurement. The pilot will attract high-quality goods and enterprises from Sichuan, western China and the world, and integrate into the “Rongou +” Strategy to create online and offline interactions, and strive to promoting regional trade transformation and upgrading, and high-quality development.
