2019 Badminton Asia Championships Kicked off in Wuhan

From April 23rd to 28th, 2019 Badminton Asia Championships had been held at the Wuhan Sports Center in Wuhan, capital of Hubei province. Nearly 300 people from more than 20 Asian countries and regions, including Japan, South Korea, and Indonesia, participated in the event.

There are five projects, men’s singles, women’s singles, men’s doubles, women’s doubles, and mixed double. The top 10 players of Asia  must participate in each project of the game.

The Badminton Asia Championships was established in 1962 and was co-hosted by Badminton Asia. The tournament has been held for 38 times for now. From 2015 to 2019, Wuhan has been hosted the Badminton Asia Championships for five consecutive years and 2020 Badminton Asia Championships will still kick off in Wuhan.
