Celebration of 30th Anniversary of the Founding of Huanren Manchu Autonomous County in Liaoning Province, China

This year marks the 30th anniversary of the founding of Huanren Manchu Autonomous County in Liaoning Province, China. Huanren County held a celebration on September 5. 
Huanren Manchu Autonomous County is located in the east of Liaoning Province, belonging to Benxi City. Since Huanren Manchu Autonomous County was founded 30 years ago, the regional gross domestic product has increased by 45 times, and the total financial revenue has increased by 46 times. The per capita disposable income of urban and rural residents has increased 43 folds, and has won honorary titles such as World Cultural Heritage sites, national ecological demonstration areas, advanced tourism counties in China, national garden counties, and national health counties. At present, the county is creating a national civilized city, in a bid to be enlisted among the first batch of national tourism demonstration zones and national tourist resorts.

Huanren's Wunv Mountain

Over the past 30 years, Huanren vigorously implemented "Green Mountains, Clear Water, Blue Sky, Pure Land" and other ecological projects, Huanren's ecological environment continued to improve. Huanlong Lake, the largest artificial lake in Liaoning, has a water storage capacity of 3.46 billion cubic meters, which has become an important water source in Liaoning. The highest forest coverage rate reached 79.4%, the average negative oxygen ion content reached more than 5,000 per cubic centimeter, and the rate of excellent air quality days in urban areas reached 97%. Huanren is speeding up the construction of a large forest park with an area of 3,547 square kilometers.
