On August 14, "Art and Peace" – China Contemporary Art Exhibition, sponsored by the Chinese Artists Association, kicked off in the National Museum of Cultures in Mexico, opening a new chapter of China-Mexico art exchanges. The museum is one of the five state-level museums under the Mexican National Institute of Anthropology and History dedicated to promoting a public awareness of cultural diversities.

The exhibition will run in Mexico for nearly two months, and then it will tour to South Africa and Russia, showing how "art and peace" is interpreted by Chinese artists.
