The first store of Singapore's TWG Tea in southwest China settled in Yuzhong, Chongqing

Since the release of "Fashion Yuzhong" plan this June, Yuzhong District of Chongqing City has attracted a number of stores of world-renowned brands to settle in the area. Recently, TWG Tea, a well-known boutique of tea from Singapore opened its first store in Yuzhong District.

Yuzhong District is the business centre, commercial centre, and culture centre of Chongqing. In recent years, the accumulation of new format, new mode, and new retail in Yuzhong District has accelerated. Under this background, the district released the "Fashion Yuzhong" plan, and has been actively developing the "four first" economy, "first store, first brand, first show and first release". The district is striving to add 100 more first stores in the next two years, and hold fashion shows and flash mob about each brands every year, so as to improve the quality of business in Yuzhong.

According to the relevant person in charge of TWG Tea, Chongqing is one of the fastest developing cities in China, and a gateway that connects eastern and western China. Yuzhong District, as the cradle of Chongqing, has rich historic deposits and world-class shopping centres. Therefore, opening the first store of southwest China in Yuzhong, is the key for TWG Tea's expansion to global market.

TWG Tea will offer Chongqing citizens and visitors with 800 kinds of tea from 47 tea gardens around the world. It will also launch new products with world-renowned tea gardens each season, in order to provide people with remarkable experience.
