The 2020 CHINA BRAND FESTIVAL Interview Group Went to Wuhan’s Kat Hing Folk Street to Experience the Vitality of the River Bank Area

Earlier this month, the “2020(14th) CHINA BRAND FESTIVAL” was held in Wuhan city, Hubei province. This festival event was held by The Brand Alliance and Wuhan Municipal People's Government. On the day of the opening ceremony, the interview group visited the “Kat Hing Folk Street” which located in Jiangan district, and learned about traditional culture, and tasted traditional food. All members of the interview group experienced the vitality of Jiangan district.

The Kat Hing Folk Street was very popular during nighttime, the interview group visited several shops such as bakeries and snacks, most of them have a very long history. Interview group members interviewed some owners to know about their development history, and how they recover their business after the pandemic.

At Cai Lin Ji restaurant, cooks were making WuHan Hot Noodles with Sesame Paste rapidly. The members of the interview group are from all around the country, most of them were the first time visited Wuhan, even though they know about this kind of noodles, but it sure is their first time watching people cooking it. “I’m from Shanxi, we eat noodles and pastry all the time there. This was the first time I try the real WuHan Hot Noodles with Sesame Paste, it’s so delicious. I also tried the beancurd skin and the juicy pork bun, everything tasted great, and I had a good time here.” the interview group member Zhang Lu said.

Li Yanhui, a reporter from Inner Mongolia said: “It seems like Wuhan has fully recovered from the pandemic situation, I will invite my friend from different places to visit Wuhan, especially Jiangan district.”
