Explore Chanba Ecological District via Online Interview

The “Decode a Happy China via Cloud Tours - Foreign Media Online Interview Xi'an Promotion Day” was held recently at the Xi'an International Convention and Exhibition Center.

In recent years, Xi’an Chanba Ecological District has established a development philosophy that highlights ecological and industrial construction. Six ambitious ecological projects, namely sewage interception, land reclamation from lake, dike construction, afforestation, river protection and landscape renovation have helped it effectively solve three major ecological disasters and achieve a green transformation from a district with poor ecology to an ecological compensation area.

In his promotion speech, Huang Qinzheng, Deputy Director of the Xi’an Chanba Ecological District Administrative Committee, promoted the eight great sights of the district: the riverside willow trees, the morning scenes at the Horticultural Expo park, the Chang’an Pagoda, the night view of the conference center of the Xi'an International Convention and Exhibition Center, wetland bird watching, sunset rainbow, as well as performances based on the histories of the Silk Road and Chang’an City. He also recommended a trip to the Xi'an International Convention and Exhibition Center, a complex that embodies a global vision, international standards, distinctive Chinese features and the characteristics of Xi’an, where he suggested people attend various exhibitions, conferences and exchange activities oriented toward countries, regions and cities along the Belt and Road.

Huang also invited reporters to Xi’an and Chanba to experience the boundless vitality in a highly productive, ecological and livable place and present a beautiful China to the world.
