Gender Equality for a Better World-International Youth Action·Beijing 2020

Beijing Women's Federation actively develops friendly exchanges with women and women's organizations all over the world. By carrying out various international exchanges and integrating high-quality resources at home and abroad, Beijing Women's Federation aims to promote gender equality, realize women's all-round development, and contribute women's power to a community of shared future for women in all countries.

In order to inherit and carry forward the spirit of the Fourth World Conference on Women, Beijing 1995 and follow the guidance of Beijing Declaration and Platform for Action, with the focus on the UN 2030 Sustainable Development Goal on gender equality, Gender Equality for a Better World International Youth Action Beijing Activity is held in Beijing every July under the guidance of the Beijing Women's Federation and the Foreign Affairs Office of the People's Government of Beijing Municipality. Over the past seven years, more than 200 Chinese and foreign volunteers and thousands of young people from 35 countries have participated in the activities.

This year marks the 25th anniversary of the Beijing Declaration and Platform for Action adopted by the Fourth World Conference on Women. Considering the current situation of COVID-19 prevention and control in Beijing, it is planned to carry out online activities with the theme of "Beijing+25: Inheriting Torch of Gender Equality".
