The protective transformation of Bagong's house is a significant part of the project.

Bagong's house included two buildings of different sizes built by Russian tea merchants J.K Banov and his younger brother Chino Banov. The house used to be a high-end apartment at first and now became a must-go sightseeing spot in Wuhan. Bagong's house was four levels above the ground and one level underground, with a total floorage of 12,300 square meters. The building structure was Masonry-timber and classicism style.

The project will repair, reinforce, and add new functions to the Bagong's house. The representative of Wuhan Tourism and Sports Group said that they are not going to change the structure, decoration materials, and color of the house and will try their best to keep it stay what it was before.

The Bagong's house was planned to reopen in 2021 and will combine other historical buildings nearby to create a historical and cultural promoting area for Jiang'an district.
