As the temperature drops across Shaanxi Province, the growing Shaanxi economy has increased the power load of Shaanxi Electric Power Company, State Grid on January 6 to 7, 2021. The power load peaked at 29.30 million kilowatts on January 7, breaking the record in the province for the 8th time. At present, the company’s power load remains high.

Shaanxi Electric Power Company, State Grid will improve its predictions over supply and demand of electric power in a short time, strengthen the management of thermal power generating units and ask for help from other provinces. It will strengthen special patrols and improve measures to protect its electrical grids, and ensure orderly power consumption to guarantee electrical safety.
