Wang Yibing noted that the next five years will be crucial for the all-rounded revitalization of Liaoyang. The city will make new achievements in promoting economic growth and build itself into a hub of science and technology more quickly. Wang Yibing stated Liaoyang's development in 2021 will highlight projects, three major tasks, business environment and people's well-being.

In 2021, Liaoyang will focus on an array of projects to ensure rapid high-quality development. Projects will be the top priority, and the city will foster a series of key projects featuring high-quality development. "This year, we plan to invest in 320 key projects requiring investment of hundreds of millions of yuan. Our fixed asset investment will increase by 17%. We will strive for all-rounded revitalization and promote the high-quality development of Liaoyang through a variety of projects," Wang Yibing said.

High-quality development relies on the establishment of the modern industrial system. Hence, Liaoyang will devote its energy and time to the three major tasks, namely transforming and upgrading old industries, fully tapping the potential of existent industries and supporting the emerging industries.
