Mount Lao'e in Meishan: A Wonderful Summer Resort in Sichuan

On July 15, after more than a year of preparation, Mount Lao'e, in Meishan City, Sichuan Province, reopened to visitors. On that day, a continuous stream of visitors came to make a pilgrimage and pray.

Mount Lao'e scenic spot is an important part of Mount Emei circular tour area. It is praised as "the sister of Mount Emei" for they are similar in shape. The peak of Mount Lao'e rises steeply into the clouds. There are many rare animals and plants in the scenic spot. With an altitude of 1142 meters, an annual average temperature of 16 degrees, over 90% forest coverage and high concentration of negative oxygen ions, Mount Lao'e is a wonderful summer resort near Chengdu.

At present, Mount Lao'e will make full advantages of its ecological culture, build a "scenic spot + healthy vacation" development model, and strive to create a national 4A level tourist attraction, being a new representative of ecological and cultural tourism in Southwest Sichuan.
