The data center of the Phase 1 Future AI Computing Center project, built in Yanta District, Xi'an City, has recently completed commissioning and will be officially put into operation soon. The first phase of the project is planned to have 300 PFLOPS FP16 (3x1017 semi-precision floating-point calculations per second) computing capability, which is the first large-scale AI computing cluster center in Northwest China.

It is understood that The Future AI Computing Center (hereinafter referred to as "the Center"), located in the Future Industrial City of Yanta District, has been built under the leadership of the district and with the participation of Huawei. With a total investment of about CNY 1.9 billion and a planned floor area of 47,296.89 sqm, the project is composed of a high-rise modern factory (including a science and technology exhibition hall, a training base, meeting rooms, office space, and other space), a data center, and supporting facilities.
The Future AI Computing Center project is one of the first projects to be put into use in the Future Industrial City. Yanta District regards the project as a catalyst for the digital and intelligent transformation of various industries and a strategic engine to promote the development of the artificial intelligence industry in the district.
The completion and operation of the Center will create a safe, independent and controllable AI computing base for the Qinchuangyuan innovation-driven platform, and will provide important support for the realization of the district's innovation goals. It will assist Yanta District in building the district into an innovative, enterprising and livable district with rich cultural elements, which is ruled by law. It will also support the strategic development of the "6+5+6+1" modern industrial system of Greater Xi'an. The future of the "Super Brain" is promising.
