The 15th International Auto Lightweight Technology and Material Technology Innovation Application Summit & the 6th Asia New Energy Vehicle Technology Innovation (China) Summit Held in Weinan

On October 13, the 15th International Auto Lightweight Technology and Material Technology Innovation Application Summit & the 6th Asia New Energy Vehicle Technology Innovation (China) Summit was held in Weinan City, Shaanxi Province, being part of the series of activities themed on "Hundreds of Enterprises, Thousands of Programs, and Ten Thousand People into Weinan".

Chen Xiaoyong, Mayor of Weinan, noted that Weinan will focus on "Ten Major Tasks", promote robust industrial development, establish "353" industrial clusters, try to achieve its carbon peak and neutrality targets, and fully develop the new energy vehicle manufacturing base and auto parts production base. 

The Site of the Summit 

Li Yarong, Level 2 Counsel of Shaanxi Provincial Department of Commerce, stressed that Weinan City has been vigorously trying to attract target businesses, improve its business environment and industrial chain. The new energy vehicle industry boasts great development potential, and Weinan is expected to gather wisdom, enhance innovation and development capacity for win-win cooperation.

The participants had discussions on themes including "Low-Carbon Product Line Development of China-Europe New Energy Vehicles", and "Embracing Changes: 'Dual Carbon' Driving Innovation and Green Development". 

The event will further propel the growth of the auto industry and the industrial development in Weinan, as well as add vitality to the high-quality development of the city.
